About Us
GEYDE Development was founded in 2022 to further owner Nick Eyde’s vision for a revitalized downtown Toledo. Despite historic underinvestment from private developers and gloomy prognostications, Toledo continues to defy market expectations and proceed on its upward trajectory. It’s not easy breathing life into vacant land or underutilized buildings, though.
It takes vision, an understanding what residents and tenants need, fierce persistence, and of course, capital investment. That’s where Geyde Development comes in. Check out the properties below or our blog to see what we’re working on now!

Nick Eyde
Managing MemberNick has nearly two decades of real estate development experience, specializing in adaptive reuse of historic buildings. Past projects include the Knapps Centre and Capitol View in Lansing, MI, and the Tower on the Maumee in Toledo, OH. Nick also played quarterback for six seasons in the Italian Football League and spearheaded the effort to bring the Italian Bowl to the Glass City.
